If you are experiencing jaw pain, or are having regular headaches, migraines, or earaches, you may be suffering from TMJ. TMJ disorder, or TMD, occurs when your bite is not properly aligned, causing pain or discomfort to occur when you open and close your mouth. Grinding your teeth (bruxism) can remove a thin layer of your tooth’s surface, causing uneven teeth, and a misaligned bite closure.
Because this common disorder is painful, and sometimes unavoidable, Dr. Jeffrey C. Kirian, DDS would like to extend his extensive training and help to you.
After completing graduate school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Kirian went on to complete a prestigious program at The Dawson Academy to better understand TMJ, and its treatment—occlusal adjustment.
